Sunday Morning Observations, Week 10: The Tide Win Again, the Duck Defense is Exposed

By November 5, 2012

Follow me on:

You never actually thought they were going to lose, did you?

Sure, it looked pretty bad there for a while for Alabama. They had blown an early lead. They were trailing by three. They found themselves with their backs up against the wall, facing one of the best defenses in the nation, needing to drive the length of the field in order to save their season.

Oh, and they had to do this, on the road, at perhaps the single most intimidating venue in all of college football: LSU's Tiger Stadium.

Yes, the odds were stacked against the Tide.

And yet, as we all probably expected, they came out on top anyway.

Their 21-17 win cemented their status as the best team in the nation, and got them one step closer to yet another national title. It's a win we'll take a look at here, in the Week 10 edition of Sunday Morning Observations.
