Well, believe it or not, folks, we're now officially one-third of the way through this college football regular season.
College football's just-concluded Week 4 confirmed much of what we already knew about this 2012 season. It confirmed that the Big Ten is as bad as its ever been. It confirmed that, yes, Florida State actually is pretty darn legit. It confirmed that Notre Dame may, in fact, be legit, as well. It confirmed that Oregon remains the team to beat out in Pac-12 country and that Alabama is the team to beat in SEC country.
And perhaps most notably, it confirmed that The John L. Smith Era at Arkansas is going to be a very, very brief era indeed. Because what Smith is overseeing down in Fayetteville can only be described as a disaster.
We'll take a look at the Razorbacks' struggles, and much more, in this week's edition of Sunday Morning Observations.
Enjoy, everyone.
