The biggest lesson we learned last week was that the SEC is still the best conference in football.
The biggest lesson this week?
Well, it's simple: The Big Ten still is a long, long ways from being ready to compete with the aforementioned SEC. Or any other power conference, for that matter.
Week 2 of this 2012 season was an unmitigated disaster for the Big Ten, especially for supposed conference contender Wisconsin, which suffered an awful defeat at the hands of Pac-12 also-ran Oregon State.
We take a look at that Wisconsin loss--and those by the Badgers' conference brethren as well--in the Week 2 Edition of Sunday Morning Observations.
