The worst rankings ever!
- I think its crazy that anyone would ever put boise #1 straight up ridiculous. I will say boise is a good team but when u play one of the easiest schedules EVERY YEAR what do thinks going to be the outcome of course you'll be undefeated every year. With no injurys everyone healthy come on play some real teams. Peterson a top 5 coach please thats why he's a boise.Congrats on beating OU enjoy cause it wont happen again. Maybe a rematch someday hopefully soon.

- Another thing about Nebraska, the 1971 and 1995 Nebraska football teams are considered 2 of the best football teams in college football history! Oklahoma or Texas do not have anything to match that.

Where is Utah?
- The Utes ended the 2009 at around #17 in the polls with a true freshman at qb and a big win over Cal. in their bowl. Yes, they did lose six to the NFL draft, however, Utah is in a position with the recruits that they have received over the past few years to reload rather than rebuild. Look for Utah to surprise a few with their season this year. At the same time, I am not sure how they can surprise anyone with two convincing BCS victories in '04 and '08 seasons under their belt. I call it a little bit of bias against the Utes and non-bcs schools in general and an inordinate amount of love for Boise St. and TCU.

- Although my alma mater has been disappointingly unsuccessful in the season opening games it has played recently (USC & Bama) we were in both games until the end, and there is something to be said for scheduling a "contenda". It IS a great measure for both teams facing their whole schedule ahead. I congratulate both schools for playing a game like this. On Labor Day weekend, check out who UGA, LSU, UF, UO, the Longhorns & Trojans are playing.

where is oklahoma state
- Our defense looked good sometimes last year. Brandon Weeden is getting used to playing quarterback. We still have Kendall Hunter who is back from his injury. So where is oklahoma state

Iowa Hawks
- Yes the hawks have young RBs like Robinson and Wegher, but have you forgot all about Jewel Hampton? He was Shonn Greenes backup and would have started last year but he hurt his knee. It wouldn't surprise me if Robinson and/or Wegher redshirts. Afterall, they were the 4th and 5th string running backs at the beginning of last season. Don't forget about DJK and McNutt our at WR. Maybe Iowa doesn't have the most explosive offense, but its sound and it gets the job done thanks to the O-Line

Boise State plays nobody
- Boise State cruises through an easy season - probably keeps them from having the injuries that other teams have, and then play one tough game. Big whoop. Until they stop playing St. Swithens School for Blind Incontinent Girls every week, they're status is a joke.

Bosie st. REALLY?
- THIS TEAM IS EASY TO BEAT, JUST PLAY'UM STRAIATE UP. THEY COUNT HE UNKNOWEN.

- So, when have you won a national title? Ahhh, never, duh. When have you won a big 12 title, ahhh, never, duh. You won a big eight title in 1969? Sorry man, that is before my time! I do know for a fact that the average I.Q. for Nebraska fans is higher then the average Missouri fan.

Mizzou, you are the idiot
- Mizzou, you are the idiot. Missouri won 12 big 8 football championships, the last one in 1969. Nebraska won 41 big 8 championships. of course we won the big 12 in 1997 and also a National championship in 1997 to go with the big 8 titles in 94 and 95, and the national championshiops in 94 and 95. Missouri is a second rate football program.

the dawgs
- I think georgia is going to be the sec east winner because every one in counting them out so early and the last time that happened they won the confrence in 2005 and in 2007 they counted them out although they should have played for the confrence but was still cheated out the national championship game.+

Here Come The Gators!!!!!
- I am amazed by the lack of true knowledge of the intensity of the top teams in the SEC... I noted that you folks have not mentioned the Florida Gators , winners of 23 straight and then winning the Sugar Bowl with a Killing of undefeated Cincy!!!! Let me help you here. We return 16 of the starting 22 on Defense with some monsters on the D line and speedsters everywhere else!! On offense and here is where the fun starts....We have the QB that broke Tim Tebows records in HS as a 4th year JR. In addition, 3 of the starters in the backfield and 1 wideout set the record on the 4x100 relay team!!! and best of all, 3 all world redshirts are back at wideout and tailback....This is a loaded team that will be a hybrid of the 2008 National Champ team combined with the 50 pt a game Spurrier offense of the 1996 National Championship Team....Dont you read the recruiting stats? When we end up with #1 recruit teams in the nation they end up playing! This is a Monster team!!!!! Go Gators...Gator Bob

What people don't get about the SEC
- I realize a lot of people honestly believe that the SEC is over-rated, but it's not. The reason the conference is so good is simple: it's teams take college football more seriously than everyone else. Most people reading this will scoff after reading that, but it's true. It's the reason why so many people compare the SEC to the NFL, which is a very crude comparison at face value. SEC fans love to chant "S-E-C" and the truth is that most of them could care less what happens outside of the conference, just as most other college football fans could care less about what happens at the NAIA level. If the SEC champion will also be crowned the national champion each year, then which championship do you think most SEC fans value most (hint: not the one where they may have to play BSU in a single game to win it all.) Likewise, SEC fans are more interested in where their team ranks within the conference than they are outside of it, because they believe most would beat many teams ranked in the A

Winning out may still not cut it.
- Love your enthusiam towards BSU, but wonder if your intentions rest more on saying at seasons end u can say "I tols U so." I am not too sure that the BCS would even allow BSU to play for title. BCS won't sleep a night until a team like BSU loses come 2010. BSU is for real college football fans. Coach Peterson is good SEC fans. If you doubt it look at Oregon's success under Bellotti to present. All BSU's sucsess was product of Oregon coaches as of late.(kinda)Peterson is somewhat of a freak. What he has done to football in Boise is new to college football. It may not go away. Shove it and love it! Love to see BSU and anyone in the championship. Would I bet on BSU? Ask me after Nevada, pending on V-Tech game. If your team is so darn good than step up like Vtech and play them in regular season, otherwise spare me the SEC garble!!! Big 12 still is best especially with Nebraskas return. Pulling for you Tim Hyland, of course I am pulling for BSU, too modest myself to ever say "I told you so"
