For more than four decades, Notre Dame owned Navy.

The Irish and the Midshipmen play each other every year, and have done so for years. But between 1964 and 2006, it was awfully hard to call the series a “rivalry.” Besides, the Irish won every year during that span, setting the all-time record for most consecutive wins in an uninterrupted (annual) series.

Below are the ten longest streaks in the category.

43 games: Notre Dame over Navy (1964-06)
36: Nebraska over Kansas (1969-04)
32: Oklahoma over Kansas State (1937-68)
29: Nebraska over Kansas State (1969-97)
28: Texas over Rice (1966-93)
26: Syracuse over Hobart (1906-31)
25: Penn State over West Virginia (1959-83)
24: Nebraska over Missouri (1979-02)
24: Tennessee over Kentucky (1985-08)*
22: Tennessee over Vanderbilt (1983-04)
