Definition: For college football fans, no Saturday morning is complete with ESPN College Gameday.

Since 1987, this hugely successful show has served as the morning kickoff for the day of college football to come. The show took off in popularity starting in 1993, when ESPN began sending GameDay on the road to broadcast live from the location of one of the day's biggest game.

The show currently stars host Chris Fowler and analysts Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso and Desmond Howard. Reporter Erin Andrews contributes as well.

In 2010, GameDay adopted a three-hour format, with the first hour (9 a.m.-10 a.m.) being broadcast on ESPNU and the last two hours being shown on the flagship ESPN.

The show is sponsored by Home Depot and its formal title is "College GameDay built by The Home Depot."
