The Doak Walker Award

Darren McFadden is one of two two-time Doak Walker Award winners, joining Ricky Williams of Texas.

The Doak Walker Award is given each year by the SMU Athletic Forum Board of Directors to the best running back in college football. It was created in 1989 and was first handed out in 1990.
