The Buck Buchanan Award

The Buck Buchanan Award has been given each year since 1995 to the best defensive player in college football's Football Championship Subdivision, previously known as Division I-AA.

The award was created by The Sports Network. It is named after former Kansas City Chiefs and Grambling State star Junious "Buck" Buchanan.
