The Las Vegas Bowl has been played annually at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas since 1992, and since 2001 has matched teams from the Pac-10 and MWC. The conferences are 4-4 against each other in that time, though to be fair it should be noted that while the MWC sends its No. 1 team to the game (or, in seasons when the league's No. 1 team goes to the BCS, its No. 2 team) the Pac-10 sends its No. 4 or No. 5 team.
The game is currently sponsored by Maaco.
