I'm done talking Te'o. So let's start talking football.
While it is indeed true that we are in the deepest, most depressing recesses of the offseason--the 2012 season has just ended, the 2013 season seems a lifetime away--the fact is that college football shall indeed return. Granted, it's not going to return for another eight months, but it will return nonetheless.
And yes, it's my job to write about it.
I've done precisely that this week, as I've begun the process of compiling what will eventually become a virtual avalanche of season preview copy for the 2013 season.
