More Trouble at Indiana

Thursday August 28, 2008
Indiana quarterback Kellen Lewis had some well-documented personal troubles after his breakout season in 2007, and Hoosiers coach Bill Lynch wasn't shy at all about disciplining his offensive star: In fact, Lynch suspended Lewis for four full months.

And only on Wednesday did Lewis -- who threw for 3,000 yards and 28 touchdowns and rushed for another 736 yards last year -- actually win his starting job back.

But just as Lewis appears to be working his way back into Lynch's good graces, it appears another Indiana standout -- NFL-caliber defensive end Greg Middleton -- has found his way into the doghouse.

Middleton, a first-team All-Big Ten selection after racking up 16 sacks in 2007, has been suspended for Indiana's opener against Western Kentucky. Also suspended for "unspecified disciplinary reasons" were tight end Troy Wagner, safety Brandon Mosley and freshman defensive end Kyle Kozak.

Indiana needs Middleton if they hope to return to a bowl game in 2008. So IU fans can only hope this suspension lasts just one game.

Trojans, check this out =)

Last year I went on such a fun trip, we took the coast starlight train from LA to Oregon for that game. This year the trip is to Stanford. It was really a luxurious, fun trip. Take a look! You can get tickets at http://usctrain.org

Fight on!
