Good News, Clemson Fans: This is Your Year

Tommy Bowden has accomplished quite a bit in his ten-year tenure at Clemson University, but there are two things Bowden has not yet pulled off -- and, unfortunately, they are probably the two things Tiger fans care about most of all.

First, he has not won an ACC championship.

Second, he has not won a BCS bowl game (or, for that matter, even appeared in one).

Well, Clemson fans, I bring you good news: I truly believe this is the year those droughts will end. In fact, if things go right -- and, most specifically, if your Tigers can get by Alabama in Week 1 -- you may even see your team playing for the national championship come January.
